What to expect to see on your visit

Educational presentations are offered throughout the day. These "Turtle Talks" teach the public about the mission of Sea Turtle, Inc. and the species of sea turtles found in the area. Depending on the time of year and the number of visitors present for the "Turtle Talk", a Sea Turtle, Inc. staff member will present to you in one of two ways. If there are a large number of visitors present, the talk will be in our outdoor amphitheater. If the number of visitors is smaller, then the staff member may be able to take you around our outside tanks as a group.

"Turtle Talks" run between 20-30 minutes in length. The first one of the day begins at 10:15 am. Presentations are held about every hour, with the last one of the day beginning around 3:00 pm. (4:00pm in the summertime!)

School Groups & Special Presentations

Sea Turtle, Inc. is happy to accommodate groups if a reservation is made. We will alter the presentations to be age appropriate for school groups.

We often use our very own sea turtle costume to show children the anatomy of sea turtles. The turtle costume is a fun way for kids to understand the difference between sea turtles and land turtles. We also utilize puppets, pictures, and other fun props to keep students engaged and excited about sea turtles!  A main mission of this organization is to educate the public.

Make an appointment for your school or group to join in on the fun!
